yes, i finally watched it a while back... 😂
i can't even remember how i found out about this movie? i thinkkk it was advertised on astro or something at the time, and then i looked up the trailer on youtube and was interested. this was even before i got into my whole ~thai~ fandom lol.
anywho!
i thoroughly enjoyed the movie lol. imo it's quite different from anything else i've watched? i mean the whole setting of may who's electricity condition i guess isn't that unique, but i felt the way it's incorporated into the story was refreshing to watch, and honestly i had no idea where the movie was heading towards,,, even when i was already 3 quarters into the movie 😂
the pacing of the movie was ok (i mean at least compared to the thai dramas i've watched so far, this movie's definitely ok lol), but there's a lot of, for lack of a better word, unnecessary filler scenes...🙈 i guess that's why i felt like i didn't know where it was going? lol. i was ok with some of it though, in a slice-of-life-ish way. i also didn't expect the show to have so much cgi animation of pong's comics - that kind of took me out of the movie a little 😅
when i watched the trailer, it was kind of marketed like a love triangle, so i didn't expect the pong and mink story to happen either. i appreciate that they didn't make mink's character a complete villain. when she tricked may who to the back of the school (i'm not really sure where in the school this was actually lol) for the 6-pointed stars to "teach her a lesson", i rolled my eyes for a bit... so when pong chased after her and talked about how she actually does care about her job as captain of her cheer team, i was pleasantly surprised lol. i liked that not everything boils down to ~romance~. it just feels more relatable, personally lol.
and fame, OH FAME,,, he is such a good kid 😭💞 two scenes of his that stood out to me were:

and fame, OH FAME,,, he is such a good kid 😭💞 two scenes of his that stood out to me were:
- when he first talked to may who, she (out of panic) screamed in his face, but he still talked to her nicely after.
- dissolved the bullying of 6-pointed stars to may who in a peaceful manner! what a good kid who will not tolerate bullying 👏
